SMS Disclosure

This SMS Disclosure describes the text-message (SMS) program operated by Coached.io, which is owned and operated by Cyberwire, LLC (“Coached,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). It explains what messages we send, how often, how you opt in and opt out, and how we handle your mobile phone number. This SMS Disclosure should be read together with our Privacy Policy and our Terms of Use, both of which are incorporated by reference.
By providing your mobile phone number and opting in, you consent to receive recurring SMS text messages from Coached at the number you provide. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel or HELP for help. Approximately 2–8 messages per month.

2. How You Opt In
You opt in to the Coached SMS program by submitting your mobile phone number through a Coached.io form (such as the signup form) and affirmatively checking a clearly labeled, unchecked-by-default consent checkbox before submitting. SMS consent is not a condition of using the Services and is not bundled with any other agreement. You may use Coached.io without opting in to SMS.
The checkbox is paired with the following disclosure language at the point of opt-in:
I agree to receive recurring SMS text messages from Coached (operated by Cyberwire, LLC) at the mobile number I have provided, including account information, course updates, notifications about new course materials, and support replies. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies (approximately 2–8 per month). Reply STOP to opt out at any time or HELP for assistance. My phone number will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. I have read and agree to the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
By checking the box and submitting the form, you confirm that you are the authorized user or subscriber of the phone number you provided and that you are 18 years of age or older.
3. Types of Messages You May Receive
You may receive the following categories of messages from Coached:
- Account information — sign-in and security alerts, password-reset confirmations, billing and subscription notifications, and other transactional messages about your account.
- Course updates — reminders about courses you are enrolled in, schedule changes, deadline reminders, and progress check-ins.
- New course materials — notifications when new lessons, modules, or courses become available that are relevant to your enrollment or stated interests.
- Support replies — responses to support requests you initiate by SMS, email, or in-app.
We do not send marketing or promotional messages from third parties by SMS.

Course update

New course materials
Coached: A new module — “Working with AI Agents” — is now available in your learning path. View it: https://coached.io/c/y. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.
Support reply
Coached Support: Following up on your request — we have reset your password. Check your email for next steps. Reply HELP for help, STOP to cancel.
5. Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on your account activity and the courses you are enrolled in. Most users receive approximately 2 to 8 messages per month. You may receive more or fewer messages depending on the frequency of course updates, new releases, and any support conversations you initiate.
6. Message and Data Rates
Standard message and data rates may apply to each message sent or received, depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Coached and Cyberwire, LLC are not responsible for any charges that result from receiving SMS messages. Please contact your mobile carrier for details about your text-messaging plan.
7. Opting Out (STOP)
You may opt out of Coached SMS messages at any time by replying STOP, END, QUIT, CANCEL, or UNSUBSCRIBE to any message you receive from us. After you reply, we will send a single confirmation message and will not send further SMS messages, except for an additional confirmation if you later opt back in by replying START or UNSTOP.
You may also opt out by emailing help@coached.io or calling (800) 388-2720 and asking to be removed from SMS communications.
Opting out of SMS may delay or prevent delivery of time-sensitive account, course, or security notifications. Email notifications will continue unless you also unsubscribe from email.
8. Help (HELP)
For assistance with the Coached SMS program, reply HELP to any message you receive from us. You will receive a reply with our contact information. You can also contact us directly:

9. Supported Carriers
The Coached SMS program is supported on all major U.S. wireless carriers, including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, and most regional carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. International carrier support and delivery may vary, and additional fees may apply.
10. Privacy — No Sharing of Mobile Information
No mobile information (including phone numbers and SMS opt-in data and consent) will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing limited to subcontractors that support Coached’s own operations — such as our SMS messaging provider, customer-service platform, and fraud-prevention vendors — is permitted solely to deliver the Services you have requested.
All other categories of data sharing described in our Privacy Policy specifically exclude text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent; that information will not be shared with any third parties for any purpose other than delivering the Services you requested or complying with applicable law.
11. Changes to This SMS Disclosure
We may update this SMS Disclosure from time to time to reflect changes in our SMS practices or in legal or regulatory requirements. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated through the Services or, where appropriate, by SMS or email.
